Visit of the famous cave of Clamouse, classified among the most beautiful. It is a real Ali Baba cave with the greatest diversity of crystals (aragonite and calcite) in France, a sumptuous lighting of this fragile environment, an original and enchanting show (pullover and shoes recommended). Discover or rediscover the most precious things in the underground world: organs, fistulas, draperies, aragonites and eccentrics. During the guided tour you will be introduced to cave animals, a great diversity of crystals and the show specially composed for the Clamouse cave:
Magnificat poem of Clamouse as well as a new introduction film in ultra HD, in an immersive room. Discover a secret place hidden until 1945 when the team of the speleology-club highlighted this cave and enter the legend of Clamouse which means “howling” in local dialect. The visit lasts 1h30.
Free time at the Pont du Diable, the oldest romanesque bridge in France (1000 years old) and a World Heritage site and pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. This 50 m long bridge with two main arches marks the entrance to the magnificent Hérault gorges. According to legend, the devil himself built this bridge more than 1000 years ago.
